This title is fairly traditional and has optional graphing calculator coverage throughout. Approach to trigonometry is right-triangle first. Part of a four title series.

Chapter R: Review—Revision of previous Chapter 1, referenced throughout the book when review of content may be needed.
The discussion of Polynomial and Rational Inequalities now appears after Polynomial and Rational Functions, allowing students to use the information about the graphs to solve the inequalities. Students and professors will appreciate how easily this usually tough concept is now handled.
Zeros of a Polynomial Function now appears in a separate Chapter following Polynomial and Rational Functions to provide more flexibility in teaching and testing.
Separate chapters on Sequences, Induction, the Binomial Theorem, and Counting and Probability also provide more flexibility in coverage.
