Strong coverage of differential equations—Slope fields are introduced as a geometric view of antidifferentiation in Section 5.1 and then used to introduce a graphical solution to differential equations in Section 5.6. Separable differential equations are considered in Chapter 5 and first-order linear equations in Chapter 7. Chapter 14 covers exact and homogeneous differential equations as well as an introduction to second-order linear equations.
