NEW! Make it Real 2.0 is a comprehensive website that contains dynamic simulations developed by Prentice Hall exclusively for American Government. In addition to simulations, Make it Real also contains activities on civic participation, interactive timelines and maps, quizzes, primary source documents, Census data, and exercises in visual literacy. Students will use information such as real election results, real demographics, maps and voting score cards. Self-study quizzes are available for the student to take to make sure they understand the concepts used in completing the simulations and other activities.

How do you bring American Government to life?

MakeItReal 2.0 features updated and new simulations. The unique simulations have been thoroughly updated and new PoliSim simulations have been incorporated. The new and updated PoliSim simulations allow the student to assume the role of the actor in a potential event in the political process and thereby develop command of the concepts and process of government.

MakeItReal 2.0 has extended activities. The extended activities in MakeitReal 2.0 promote critical thinking skills that help students comprehend the basics while developing a deep appreciation for the processes and actions of the American political system.

This website mirrors the traditional American Government textbook. MakeitReal 2.0 mirrors the traditional American Government textbook. Each unit includes an overview, images, readings, a simulation or video, an activity, internet links, and assessment questions.

Engage. A video, simulation or interactive exercise allows students to role-play as one of the actors in the political process.
