For one semester courses in Art Appreciation.

Henry M. Sayre wrote A World of Art because he saw a need for an art appreciation text that was more inclusive of women artists, ethnic minorities and art from around the globe. The author provides students with an understanding of formal elements, artistic mediums, and art history.
