This book is a collection of original cases based on real scenarios that span the K-12 curriculum, helping students apply their learning of educational psychology.
This text has over 25 detailed cases and includes a helpful theory guide. These real-life scenarios can be used to apply theory to the classroom when real-life or field experiences are not feasible. Each case concludes with thought-provoking questions, references, further readings and suggestions for using helpful video segments from MyLabSchool. The cases are described by content and level (elementary through secondary) in a detailed Table of Contents and all cases indicate how they apply to NCATE teacher certification standards. A number of cases are augmented by video clips available on MyLabSchool.

PRAXIS II MatrixI think the casebook idea is excellent. As an instructor, I am eager to have good cases to use with my students.
Cheryl Greenberg, The University of North Carolina, Greensboro
Professors tend to lose sight of what is actually happening in the classroom; consequently, case studies like those presented here add realism to the often dry classroom lectures and abstract discussions.
James Furukawa, Towson University
This compilation of over 25 concise yet highly detailed cases helps students apply their knowledge of educational psychology and theory to the classroom. The cases found in the book are original and based on real life scenarios that span the K-12 curriculum and incorporate a range of issues including exceptional populations, diverse students, and the use of technology.
