Lial’s student-friendly examples have been further enhanced in this revision with new pointers from the authors that warn students about common pitfalls. Each example will still conclude by asking students to “Now Try” one or more parallel exercises from the corresponding exercise set so that students can immediately reinforce the concepts and skills presented in the examples.
