What Is MyNursingLab?

MyNursingLab is a user-friendly site giving students the opportunity to test themselves on key concepts and skills. By using MyNursingLab, students can track their own progress through the course and use the personalized study plan activities to remediate and help them achieve success in the classroom, in clinicals, and ultimately on the NCLEX-RN®.

MyNursingLab is organized by textbook chapter, with each chapter providing:

• Chapter Pre-Test – Using NCLEX-RN® format questions, this quiz measures student’s understanding of the chapter material and expected learning outcomes for that chapter.
• Personalized Study Plan – based upon the results of the Chapter Pre-Test, students receive a personalized remediation plan, important concepts and applications where they need improvement.  Study Plans correlate to the Learning Objectives from the textbook and build remediation through Bloom’s Taxonomy, layering levels of knowledge, comprehension, application, and analysis tools to help students understand and apply the concepts.
• Chapter Post-Test – again, using NCLEX-RN® format questions, students can measure their own progress against prior results and see improvement.
