You will become versed in the use of the desktop calculator and the Windows® calculator. Finally, partially completed Excel® spreadsheets are provided to help you develop your data entry skills.

Computer assisted instruction—Allows for unlimited repetitions of exercises and for instant feedback.

  • Students can get all the practice they need with immediate feedback.

Lessons, drills and tests—Built-in with speed and accuracy scores calculated and provided for each.

  • Students have complete learning package at their fingertips.

Actual keystrokes may be printed—Upon the completion of each lesson, drill, and test for diagnostic purposes keystrokes can be printed with incorrect keystrokes marked with asterisks.

 

  • Helps students recognize recurring mistakes and correct them.

 Timing bars—Appear on screens to give the student an idea of his/her progress during timed lessons, drills and tests.

  • Allows student to self-evaluate their progress.

 Check marks in the pull-down menus—Indicate which activities have been completed.

  • Makes it easy for students to see where they are in the course.

 Logs containing scores for lessons, drills and tests—May be printed at any time.  In addition, individual logs containing scores for Drills 1-6 may be printed. 

  • Students and instructors can track progress and skill level.

 Several partially completed spreadsheet files are included. 

  • Allows students to obtain experience in entering numeric data in spreadsheets.
