This video contains four realistic case studies of groups working in diverse contexts.  All four scenarios include the following elements:

• Clear Group Goal: Each group has an identifiable, common goal.
• Varied Group Contexts: Case studies occur in realistic, contemporary contexts
• Group Member Diversity: Group members embody unique characteristics, backgrounds, attitudes, values, roles and skills.
• Group Communication Strategies: Groups use a variety of communication strategies and skills such as assertiveness, verbal and nonverbal communication, argumentation and conflict resolution, problem-solving, listening styles, and leadership.
• Group Interaction: Group members interact with one another in ways that reflect their personalities, cultures, gender, age and other factors such as status, ability levels and role expectations.
