Mathematics

This book is an attempt to answer the most popular question asked by students in this course. The best way that the authors have found to demonstrate to students the need to learn certain topics is to bring pages from a real K-8 textbook. This allows students to see when and where a topic occurs in the curriculum and also to see how it is presented in a text. Thus, each topic in this book has four components: a brief discussion of the topic, pages from a school text, a set of problems that focus on skills, and a set of problems that focus on concepts.
