Important information regarding rebate cards packaged with Pearson textbooks

Updated December 10, 2008

Dear Customer,

Pearson offers mail-in rebates to customers who purchase certain textbooks in conjunction with the i>clicker or InterWrite Learning systems.

We are very concerned to have learned that Continental Promotions Group, the company that processes these rebate checks, filed for bankruptcy protection. A small number of checks were distributed to customers that may bounce. However, upon learning of this issue, Pearson took immediate action with our interactive learning systems partners to deposit additional monies into an account to ensure that all our customer rebate checks will be honored.

Please be assured that if you cashed a rebate check that was returned due to insufficient funds, Pearson, i>clicker and InterWrite will honor all rebates and any associated bank fees.

To determine next steps, please follow the instructions below:

  • If you are presently holding a Pearson rebate check, simply deposit the check as you normally would. The rebate check will be processed through a Pearson account.

  • If you have already attempted to cash a rebate check and incurred bank fees due to the fulfillment company bankruptcy, please mail your returned check notice to the address below and we will issue you a new check.

  • If you have new rebate materials to submit, please send your materials to the address below.
