Rules

1. The scholarship contest is open to all Biology Majors currently enrolled in a course in general biology, or to any student who has successfully completed the general biology course in the past two years (between June 2006 and June 2008).
2. Candidates will be allowed to submit only one application.
3. Essay letters must be printed on 8-1/2" by 11" paper, double-spaced on 1-2 pages.
4. Applications must be accompanied by a biology professor's recommendation note and signature to confirm the eligibility of the candidate.
5. Candidates must complete the application form (or a photocopy) and attach it to their essay letter and professor's recommendation note.
6. All applications will become the property of Pearson Benjamin Cummings.
7. Submissions must be postmarked no later than November 4, 2008.
