To recognize the efforts of faculty and students toward encouraging sustainable practices on campus and in the community, Pearson Education will award a total of $5,000 to the U.S. campus or campuses that best exemplify the principles of sustainability.

Who's Eligible

As a current college or university faculty member in the environmental or biological sciences, you can nominate your department or another U.S. college or university department where campus efforts towards environmental sustainability merit consideration for the Pearson Sustainable Solutions Award.

How to Enter

To enter, complete our nomination form and send it via regular mail to Pearson Education. Be sure to include your name, title, department, college or university, e-mail address, regular mailing address, and a paragraph or more explaining why your campus best exemplifies the principles of sustainability. Include any photographs, newspaper articles, or data that will help us weigh your nomination.

Entries must be postmarked by November 3, 2008. Winners will be announced by December 11.
