CourseConnect Introduction to Economics

This course encompasses economic principles and problems. The purpose of the course is for students to develop a logical, conceptual, and analytical understanding of economic principles and to deal with problems associated with the allocation of resources, decisions made by consumers, production by firms and pricing in various market conditions, government actions in markets, measuring aggregate output, economic growth, employment and unemployment, money and banking, and fiscal and monetary policies intended to achieve economic goals.

CourseConnect Principles of Macroeconomics

This course introduces foundational concepts of economic principles, such as opportunity costs, supply, and demand. However, the course focus is to explore primary macroeconomic principles, including measurement, real economy in the long run, money economy in the long run, macroeconomic fluctuations, and policy issues. Students are presented with real world contemporary examples that apply theory to practice, demonstrating the relevance of macroeconomic thought.

CourseConnect Principles of Microeconomics

The purpose of the course is for students to develop a logical, conceptual, and analytical understanding of microeconomic principles. This course introduces foundational concepts of economic principles, such as opportunity costs, supply, and demand. However, the course focus is to explore primary microeconomic principles, including efficiency and fairness in markets, government actions and their impacts, the decisions made by consumers and producers, different market structures from perfect competition to monopoly, and factor markets and income distribution. Students are presented with real world contemporary examples that apply theory to practice, demonstrating the relevance of microeconomic thought.
