How does Propero work?

Institutional partners may sign an articulation agreement with Pearson to ensure their students can earn credit for Propero courses. Additionally, many of our partners have found creative and meaningful ways to incorporate Propero’s online course platforms as self-paced online degree programs within their curriculum.

A fully supported learning experience

Propero’s online course platforms include all course components, including lectures, eBooks, assessments, tutoring support, and academic advising that can supplement your own.

Once a student enrolls in a Propero course, he or she is supported by an ecosystem of academic advising, on-demand tutoring, and learner-centric study tools. Propero uses behavioral triggers to improve the supported nature of the learning experience. Using specific triggers and reporting functions, academic advising staff will contact the student as necessary to offer academic help and advice.

Awarding credit

The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for all Propero courses. The American Council on Education, the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives. To benefit our students, Propero participates in the ACE Transcript Service.
