Hello, and welcome to Revel - a new learning experience designed for the way today’s students read, think and learn. It enriches familiar and respected course content, with dynamic media interactives and assessments.

Ready to get started using it in your course?

  1. To begin, visit /Revel and click “Educator” under “Get Started.”
  2. If you have used a Pearson digital product in the past, like a MyLab, you can use your same Pearson Account info. to log into Revel. If you do not already have a Pearson account, choose that you would like to request one. In the event that you are unsure of your Account situation, you can click “I’m not sure” and enter the email address that may be associated with one; we’ll check for you!
  3. Once you have obtained your information, sign in as an educator through the above “Sign In” option. You will arrive at Revel’s course homepage.
  4. Select “search for materials” in the upper right hand corner, and enter the title, author, ISBN, or keywords of the text you will be using - for example, Psychology.
  5. After selecting a text, you’ll see a detailed overview of what features are included, the table of contents exactly as it appears in the text, details about the cost and authors, and an option to “create a course.”
  6. When you’re ready to continue, select “create a course.”
  7. Enter the course name as it will appear on your syllabus to students, your course section, if applicable, and the dates and times that your course will meet before clicking “save.”
  8. The earlier you can communicate to your students that you will be using Revel throughout your course, the better. To help you with this, we’ve included instructions explaining what Revel is, how it will be used, and how it can be accessed.
  9. If you’ve created a course that has a start date within one week of the creation date, you’ll notice that as soon as you click save, these instructions are highlighted in yellow and pop-up. We strongly recommend that you include them in your course syllabus and in any communication you have with students prior to the first day of class.
  10. The instructions include the unique course invite link, which is the ONLY way students will be able to join your course and access your materials upon purchasing general Revel access.
  11. When you send this link to students, they will be able to log in using one of the two purchase options, with additional information about financial aid if needed.
  12. If the course start date falls outside of that window, or you want to revisit them at a later time, you can access the instructions anytime by clicking “Invite Students.”
  13. You can also edit any of your course information, including the course name, schedule, AND roster after enrollments, by selecting course settings. For quick and easy access, filter your roster by roles and drop/add with only a few clicks.
  14. Here, you can also see who has enrolled by date. We recommend following up with students who have not yet registered as it gets close to or after your course start date.
  15. At this point, you are ready to enter your course and begin creating assignments that align with your course syllabus and goals.
